WAVY/BOUNCY HAIR

At The Luxestrandz, bouncy/wavy hair is all about maintaining fullness, softness, and definition while keeping the hair looking naturally glamorous.

* Wash your hair every 7–10 wears or when product buildup occurs.
* Use a sulphate-free shampoo to gently cleanse without drying out the hair.
* Follow with a lightweight moisturising conditioner to maintain softness and bounce.
* Detangle gently using a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working upward.
* Apply a lightweight serum or argan oil to keep the hair soft, shiny, and defined.
* Scrunch the waves gently after applying product to enhance movement and body.
* Avoid heavy creams or thick oils — they can flatten the waves and make the hair look weighed down instead of voluminous.

Care Tips

* Use a silk or satin scarf/bonnet at night to reduce frizz and preserve the wave pattern.
* Always use heat protectant before styling with hot tools.
* Avoid excessive heat to maintain the natural texture and longevity of the hair.
* Store your wig or bundles properly when not in use to help maintain shape and bounce.

Pro Tip

For soft, voluminous waves:

1. Lightly curl sections away from the face using a curling wand or heatless curling wand.
2. Allow the curls to cool completely.
3. Gently brush through with a paddle brush or wide comb.
4. Finish with a tiny drop of serum on the ends for that effortless luxury finish.

The key to bouncy, luxe waves is moisture, movement, and lightweight products.

- Circumference

Measure around your head starting at your front hairline, going behind the ears, down to the nape of the neck, and back to the starting point.

- Front to Nape

Measure from the centre of your front hairline straight back over the crown to the nape of your neck.

- Ear to Ear (Over the Top)

Measure from one ear to the other, passing over the crown of your head.

- Temple to Temple (Around the Back)

Measure from one temple to the other by wrapping the tape around the back of your head, across the fullest part.
